MONDAY: We started the day off with a Wake-up, Shake-up activity to music on the all weather pitch, then both pupils and staff ran laps of the football pitch and finally, we did some stretches. Olivia Gore also came to visit us today. Olivia is a past pupil of our school and a member of the current Meath Ladies Football Team. She spoke to us about the importance of practising your skills, not giving up and eating healthy food. She gave us a framed jersey which we will treasure. Thank you for taking the time to talk to us, Olivia.
Tuesday
Another Active Day at school today!
Both classes enjoyed the fun fitness games from School Fitness Ireland and the boys and girls from 3rd to 6th also followed a BoxAerobics video. We played some team games outside before extra free-play time……and a very well-earned picnic!
Wednesday
Today we enjoyed another School Fitness Ireland video and had a trip to The Solstice Theatre in Navan to see Oliver! JR, performed by Scoil Naomh Barra, Wilkinstown. We had a lovely day and the show was amazing.
Thursday
We followed another School Fitness Ireland video today and everyone played outside for Golden Time. We are all very excited for our school tour tomorrow!
Friday
School tour day is here at last! As you can see, we had a great day at Navan Adventure Centre. A big thank you to our guide Chloe, you were brilliant! We will definitely be back.
